Public Hearing on Future of "The Pink House"

Monday May 11, 2026 05/11/26 The Rehabilitation and Strategic Future of the _Pink House_ (7137 Main Street)

The purpose of this session is to provide the community with a comprehensive update
on the property, including:

• Building History: A brief review of the history of the structure.
• Previous Investigations: A summary of the various redevelopment and preservation options explored by the Town to date.
• Grant Opportunity: Presentation of a potential renovation grant offered to the Town.
• Grant Stipulations: A detailed look at the requirements, timelines, and conditions tied to the funding.
• Grant and Contract Consideration: The Town Council, at its June Meeting  (June 2, 2026) will consider formal action on the Conditional Grant, Use, and Construction Contract agreements relating to the rehabilitation of the “Pink House” Town property.
